I appreciate that seeking help can be intimidating, and many people feel that they suffer alone. People do not realize how common it is to suffer from mental health-related issues. For example, within North America, one in five adults suffer from mental health distress, such as anxiety, depression, concerns with body image and eating. Psychotherapy is extremely effective at treating a wide range of psychological conditions.

I provide evidence-based cutting edge, transparent, and collaborative treatment to ensure the quality of care. My approach to psychotherapy incorporates cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and solution-focused therapy. I create a non-judgmental and supportive environment where clients can gradually develop more understanding of effective ways to deal with overwhelming and difficult emotions, the role of thoughts in contributing to distress, and strategies to build and cultivate relationships.

I have worked in outpatient, inpatient, residential, private practice, university, and forensic settings. I specialize in treating issues, such as
