Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based psychological approach that helps people understand the contribution of thoughts to emotions and behaviors. Together, we can identify maladaptive thinking patterns that may lead to emotional distress, interpersonal problems, and problematic behaviors. The goal is to develop and master strategies to challenge maladaptive thoughts and create more balanced thinking patterns. CBT has been found to be effective at addressing a wide range of psychological concerns, including depression, anxiety, general stress, eating disorders, trauma, PTSD, and interpersonal conflicts. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual’s specific needs, with an emphasis on building skill mastery in a supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.
