I am a Clinical Psychologist in Ontario and a Registered Psychologist in Alberta. I have worked in outpatient, inpatient, private practice, forensic, community, and university settings.
Clinically, I integrate cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), and motivational interviewing (MI) to treat a wide range of psychological conditions, including depression, anxiety, concerns with body-image and weight, eating disorders, borderline personality disorder, overwhelming emotions, PTSD, workplace-related injuries, and women’s health issues.
What to expect when working with me:
The initial session typically includes an in-depth conversation to understand your reason for seeking help and to get to know you, including your background, relationships, values, and goals. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan based on your specific needs. I also use different clinical measures suited to each client's situation to understand the severity of psychological symptoms and to hone treatment to best help each individual person. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and goal-oriented.
